40 Under 40 in Energy

The Energy Diversity Council seeks not only to uphold and promote the principles of diversity and leadership in the energy sector, but also seeks to recognize and encourage leaders who personify those principles. The 40 Under 40 in Energy is designed to recognize leaders who are on the rise in the sector. These leaders are continually making a difference in energy; they are the innovators who are driving the future of the field.

Criteria:

• Exudes passion for advocating and supporting diversity and inclusion efforts in the workplace and community
• Serves as a leader within his or her local community via volunteerism, service, and participation in community organizations and/or events
• Exhibits high performance and goes above and beyond within his or her current organization
• Must have entered the workforce within the past 15 years to be considered for this award
