Inclusion Week

Inclusion Week is an annual campaign run by a diverse group of employers to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion in the workplace. Inclusion is about making sure that people feel valued, respected and listened to. It’s about recognizing and valuing the differences we each bring to the workplace. By creating an environment where everyone has equal access to opportunities, the chances for organizational success increases.During Inclusion week various employers will spotlight the benefits of not only having diverse workforce, but actively cultivating the diversity in their office environment. This week will be filled with events hosted by organizations that value diversity and inclusion in their workplace. We invite you to participate in Inclusion Week and demonstrate the true commitment that Houston has to diversity.

Leadership Week

Leadership Week is an annual project that functions to bring together individuals of every sector in prominent leadership roles with a focus on encouraging diversity and inclusivity.

Women in Leadership Symposium

The focus of this annual event is to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues will educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations.

Diversity & Leadership Conference

Since the inception of the Diversity & Leadership Conference, great strides have been made in advocating for inclusive workplaces. The annual conference is the largest D&I conference in the United States, with over 3,500 in attendance in 2019. For 2020, we are expecting attendance to reach over 5,000. Our goal continues to be providing companies and professionals with the tools and resources necessary to remain competitive in a global economy. In addition, the conference is a valuable resource for recruiting talent as we are expecting over 7,500 professionals to participate in our National Career Expo at the Houston Convention Center. Finally, the intent is that the conference empowers attendees to share valuable resources and best practices in D&I and leadership with their organizations, coworkers, managers, and senior leaders.
